About Me!

Hello, hello, friends!

My name is Paige Turner. Yes, that’s my real, legal name. Make your jokes, I’ve already heard most of them, but I don’t mind.

I am a 23 year old author, currently residing in London, Ontario with my beautiful fiancee (Emily), our two cats (Benji and Dela) and our crested gecko (Niko)

If you’ve stumbled across this blog, you may have noticed that it focuses heavily on mental health, but I am also passionate about music, writing, LGBTQIA+ issues, and Jesus.

At the moment I post twice a week. Mondays are for mental health, and Fridays are “eff it Fridays” where I post about … well, just about anything.

My aim for this blog is to help people feel less alone, learn to cope with their emotions, and maybe have a little fun.

It’s important to note that I am NOT a mental health or medical professional in any form. I am just a young person with struggles of my own (I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in early 2020, but have been struggling with mental health issues since I was about nine years old), who wants to share the things I’ve learned with others.

I am finally learning to love my life again after so many years of hating it and wanting it to end. I hope this blog is a reflection of that.

In my spare time when I’m not working on my novels or blogging, I love collecting fandom related pins, reading, and staying up into the wee hours of the night watching YouTube videos. I also love reading the liner notes in physical copies of CD’s, despite not knowing the people mentioned most of the time.

My hair colour changes with my mood. Not literally, but I do dye it a lot. I also enjoy playing around with makeup, and I love getting tattoos. At the moment I have six, but intend to get a lot more as I get older.

That’s all for now.

Any questions? Feel free to ask!
